Juan Lopez Cigars

La Flor de Juan López is one of the classic Cuban cigar brands. It is produced since 1876 and appreciated by connoisseurs. Their mild cigars are characterized by a distinctive, slightly woody aroma.

They are currently available in four shapes.  We recommend to get started with the brand's Selección No. 1. The cigar presents the typical taste of the brand. The Corona Gorda is also equipped with 46-ring gauge and 143 mm in length. It is a very comfortable shape to smoke.

The Seleccion No.2 tastes quite similar and is aimed at fans of classic Robusto.

The Petit Corona is a perfect cigar to smoke during the day. The typical woody notes paired with a slightly grassy note and a subtle sweetness represents this cigar.

The Panatelas Superba is a little  bit more intensive in taste . It’s an elegant, slim cigar with a 34 ring gauge and 125 mm in length.  Connoisseurs appreciate this shape.

About the brand La Flor de Juan López

Juan López Dias, a Spanish businessman, opened a factory in Havana in 1870. In 1876 he registered the brand officially. Within a short time it became a top brand.  Juan López Cigars remained a bestseller until the revolution and achieved very high sales figures. This did not changed after the revolution either.

In the course of time Juan Lopez cigars lost their popularity. Thus only 4 shapes remained till today.

Since 2006, however, no less than 11 Ediciónes Regionales  were produced, including the Double Figurado Distinguidos for the German market. A clear sign that the brand still has a high popularity among Aficionados.
