H. Upmann Reserva
The brand H. Upmann is one of the most traditional names in Cuban cigar history. It was founded back in 1844 by the German Upmann brothers, who initially had cigars produced for themselves but soon established their own production in Havana. Since then, the name H. Upmann has stood for medium-bodied to rather mild, well-balanced aromatic cigars from Cuba. Many aficionados appreciate them for their elegant and subtle development throughout the smoking experience.
H. Upmann Reservas – Selected Harvests for Connoisseurs
The Reservas mark a special highlight within the H. Upmann portfolio. For these limited cigars, only tobaccos from a single harvest are used – in this case, from the year 2010. The filler, binder, and wrapper all come entirely from the same harvest year and mature for several years under optimal conditions before the cigars are rolled.
Limited Cigars from Cuba: H. Upmann Reserva No. 2 (Cosecha 2010)
The H. Upmann Reserva No. 2 is a rarity aimed at seasoned enthusiasts. It is based on the well-known H. Upmann No. 2 format – a classic Pirámides shape that creates a particularly harmonious smoking experience. Thanks to the aging process, complex aromas develop: mild roasted notes, fine wood tones, hints of cocoa, and a gentle touch of honey sweetness define the profile.
