Dornier Do-X

The Jalapa Valley in the north of Nicaragua has long been a traditional area for growing the very finest types of tobacco. There is good reason to believe that in the past, even Cuban cigar rollers used leaves from their Central American neighbors as wrappers. The "Dornier Do-X," in contrast, is not content with mere rumors: the long filler cigar is a "Puro Nicaragua." Criollo for the wrapper and binder and Havana 2000 ligero-viso-seco as a filler are some of the very best types of tobacco Nicaragua has to offer.

The special aroma of this cigar comes from the way it is carefully fermented over a long period. Fermentation is, however, just one of countless steps before the Dornier cigar takes on its definitive shape in the hands of expert cigar rollers in small-scale tobacco factories. Torpedo, Corona, and Robusto are simply three synonyms for a unique cigar that is a cut above the rest in terms of perfection and character: 100% handmade for 100% flavor.
