The Flying Pig H99 is a medium-to-full-bodied cigar wrapped in a beautiful dark reddish, oily leaf. The cold draw is particularly inviting, offering delicious notes of roasted coffee, earth, and subtle sweetness. Despite its compact appearance, the cigar feels surprisingly light in the hand. Construction is generally good, though not flawless. The dark grey ash is somewhat fragile, and the burn required one or two minor touch-ups along the way. I'm not usually a fan of Corojo wrappers, but this cigar is a work of art as a whole and one I genuinely enjoyed. The profile is rich and satisfying, with dominant notes of earth, cocoa, roasted coffee, nuts, and cedar, complemented by subtle hints of sweet spice. All of this comes in my favorite 4x60 format, making for a memorable smoking experience. Overall, it's a cigar every enthusiast should experience at least once. However, enjoyable as it is, I personally don't find its €20+ price tag justified for repeat purchases.
