Whether standalone anniversary editions or special interpretations of established lines, the focus is on carefully selected tobacco blends, unusual vitolas and elaborately designed packaging.

Foundation Special Editions: Limited-Edition Cigars with a Story

Founded in 2015, Foundation is the vision of Nicholas Melillo, whose years of experience and passion for exceptional tobaccos also shape the development of its special editions. He has particularly strong ties to the Connecticut River Valley, one of the most historic tobacco-growing regions in the United States. These roots are reflected in selected anniversary editions, which feature rare hybrid tobaccos from Connecticut, among other varieties. The cigars are produced in Nicaragua in collaboration with renowned manufacturer A.J. Fernandez.

Foundation 10 Year Aniversario: A Salomon to Celebrate the Anniversary

With the Foundation 10 Year Aniversario Salomon, the brand celebrates its tenth anniversary. This imposing cigar measures 7 inches (approximately 17.8 centimetres) with a ring gauge of 58. Its elaborately crafted Salomon vitola, with its characteristic tapered ends, makes it a visual standout. Foundation describes the anniversary cigar as medium to full-bodied. This limited edition is available in two versions: a box of 10 and an even more limited collector's box of 20.

The Tabernacle David and Goliath: Two Exceptional Perfectos

At Foundation, David and Goliath are not rivals but complement each other as two distinctive special vitolas. The The Tabernacle Perfecto David and the The Tabernacle Perfecto Goliath use many of the same tobaccos as the regular line, but their distinctive “H. CT No. 142” wrapper gives them a flavour profile of their own. While the Goliath is considerably larger than the David, true to its name, both Perfectos are slightly more restrained in strength than the classic The Tabernacle cigars.
