Perdomo Fresco Sun Grown
At Perdomo, tobacco is truly a family affair: Unlike many other producers who purchase raw materials elsewhere and focus solely on manufacturing, the tobaccos used for Perdomo Fresco are grown on family-owned plantations. Everything from a single source – this principle guarantees the high quality of these Nicaraguan puros. You can find all Perdomo cigars here.
Perdomo Fresco Cigars: Nicaraguan Puros From the Company’s Own Tobacco Cultivation
They are also offered at a fairly affordable price, thanks to a simple trick: Company owner Nick Perdomo forgoes expensive wooden boxes for this series and offers the cigars only in bundles, either in packs of 25 or, in the past, as convenient packs of 10. In summer 2026, the 10-count bundles were discontinued, probably for cost reasons as well; naturally, the cigars are also available from us individually! Nick Perdomo is a colorful personality in the cigar industry. He still calls himself “Junior”, even though his son Nicolas III., who is now involved in the business, joined the family company during the 2020s. The “older” Nick Junior was born in 1965, his son in 1992, and his daughter Natalie, who also works in the company, in 1995. Nick Jr. is now a grandfather several times over and regularly shares his family happiness with his enthusiastic “cigar fans” on social media!
Perdomo Fresco Sun Grown: Balanced Flavors With a Refined Woody Note
The flavorful filler of these Cigars From Nicaragua owes its character to the dark, fertile soil of Estelí. The blend, meaning the filler and binder, is the same across the different variants of the Perdomo Fresco; the wrapper is what makes the difference. The Perdomo Fresco Sun Grown cigars presented here occupy the medium-bodied range between the two sister lines and impress with a pleasant woody note. The creamy and juicy Connecticut Shade is undoubtedly the mildest option of the three series. It not only conveys a premium character but also delivers a particularly balanced flavor profile. The dark, oily Maduro wrapper of the third line is noticeably fuller-bodied and also offers a subtle sweetness.
