Caldwell Hit & Run

This series is the result of a collaboration between Robert Caldwell and Matt Booth. Many aficionados may still remember Matt with his Room 101 cigar line from the time he was with Davidoff. From 2009 to 2016, he had his cigars produced by Henke Kelner and distributed in the USA by Oettinger/Davidoff. I remember well that we spoke with him about a possible import to Germany two or three years ago, and he gave evasive answers. He probably already knew that his days with or at Davidoff were numbered!

Be that as it may, since the beginning of 2017, he has been active in two new fields: one line he produces with and at A.J. Fernandez in Nicaragua, and the other is the one presented here, which he has made with Robert at "his" Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic. Initially, only the 2017 edition was planned in Germany, and later in the USA, the second line, Hit & Run Part Deux, was introduced in four formats. As is often the case, it may also arrive with us later, perhaps with a little delay.

In August 2019, two more vitolas of the 2018 edition reached us.
