This historic industrial city in the Bergisches Land region is home to Oskar Nausch. However, for many years, he has been drawn to the Dominican Republic. Whether it was Wuppertal’s famously rainy weather or a spirit of adventure that took him to the Caribbean remains his secret.
Don Esteban – A Success Story
In Santiago de los Caballeros, the second-largest city in the Dominican Republic, Oskar operates the Tabacalera “Don Esteban.” There, where the rain is a little warmer than in Wuppertal, exceptional cigars are crafted under his guidance.
Our connection with Oskar and his team spans nearly 20 years. A shared vision and close collaboration have played a significant role in the development of his brand, Samana.
