Still "new"
Peter Klein is one of those German pipe makers who are still considered "new" these days - even though they have been in the profession for several decades. In this case since 1988, Peter Klein was born in Essen, Germany and is a carpenter by trade.
Often in the Rhineland
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, he was primarily known as the "house and yard pipe maker" for the German specialist retailer Peter Heinrichs and was therefore often on site. Many people are probably still familiar with him from this time. He was also one of the "internet pioneers" who filled newsgroups with pipe-related topics.
Move to Denmark
Peter Klein ran the pipe-making business as a sideline until it became apparent that his employer would have to close its doors in 2008. He and his wife took the opportunity to reorient themselves and set up a business in Denmark, the land of their dreams.
Since then, Peter Klein has been the "most German pipe maker in Denmark" and also builds pipes as a sideline for many specialist retailers in Asia, the USA and Germany.
Always Danish style
Peter Klein's pipes are known for their distinctly Danish style and pipes with bamboo stems. It is a matter of course for him to produce pipes for 9mm filters, as his customers demand these pipes. Another feature is the impeccable workmanship and a good price-performance ratio.
