Interesting facts about the pipe maker :
Peter Klein can look back on a long experience as a pipe maker. He started making them many years ago as an autodidact. The internet had no meaning yet, there were neither forums nor communicative colleagues. Nevertheless, he managed to establish good contacts with renowned Danish pipe makers and to elicit one or two secrets from them over the years. His affinity to Denmark is reflected in his shapes. These are influenced by Danish classicism. At the same time, he approaches his craft in a relaxed and uninhibited manner, reinterpreting familiar archetypes - obtain silver rings, ornamental wood applications, acrylic rings or even mammoth rings.

After more than twenty years of experience, no one can easily fool him anymore. Until now, his limited contingent was only available from a single dealer. But with his move to Denmark, he has fulfilled an old dream and now devotes himself exclusively to pipe making.

Every year he makes about 300 freehand pipes, about 70% of them with filters. The pipes are oiled and highly polished with Carnauba wax, only a small part is sandblasted. The mouthpieces are mostly handmade from rubber rod material, but some are made of acrylic.
