Henrik Kroll Freehand pipes

Henrik Kroll was born in 1990 and found to pipesmoking by his father that has been pipesmoker and collector for many years. In 2013 Henrik began to obtain machinery and equipment to build his own workshop. He began to build pipes and to improve his skills. Basically he learned pipemaking completely on his own.

The purchase of different lathes led to another improvement of his skills and from now on he was able to build his own mouthpieces independently from pre-fabricated materials.

In the last few years, Henrik made a very brave step. He quit his solid employment with secure income and became a fulltime pipemaker. All his income now comes from making pipes which is a true sign of confidence in his own work.

And thank god, his order books are well filled. So well that we have to be patient until you'll find new pipes from Henrik in our shop.

Henrik only uses the best Briar available which he purchases where all the "Big Names" purchase their wood.

He is in lively contact with Holmer Kundsen which has his workshop nearby. Both visit quite often pipemaking-legend Hans "Former" Nielsen in Denmark in order to learn in his workshop and exchange ideas.
