Brigham Algonquin

Important note: Based on our own experience and that of our customers, we recommend smoking Brigham pipes without filters. With the maple wood filters, there are always fitting problems which lead to the filter getting permanently stuck in the mouthpiece.

Brigham, a Canadian company, invented its own filter system, the "Rock Maple Insert". This is a very practical filter made of particularly hard but absorbent maple wood, which appeared on the market as early as 1938.

Even today, all Brigham pipes are equipped with a filter made of maple wood. It is so well known that the majority of pipes offered in Canada are Brigham pipes. Brigham is also very popular in the United States.

The greatest advantage of the maple wood filter is that it can be reused frequently, can absorb a lot of tar and moisture, and yet does not significantly deteriorate the tensile properties.

In addition, it is produced from regionally grown and non-fossil raw materials, a feature that is becoming increasingly important today.

The Rock Maple Distillator filter is available here: Brigham Rock Maple Distillator

The Brigham Algoquin is a medium brown, wax polished pipe series with good smoking characteristics and a good price-performance ratio.

All pipes have an acrylic mouthpiece for Brigham filters.

As the only European pipe dealer, we are now proud to offer you Brigham pipes.
