Heibe Meerschaum Pipe

During the liquidation of the pipe factory Heibe in Bergneustadt, this collection of meerschaum pipes was also included. In the 1960s and 1970s, figuratively carved pipe bowls with oriental busts were especially popular. It goes without saying that these pipes can only be crafted by hand.

The texture of the material and the partially emerging coloration suggest that these are made from block meerschaum. While the mouthpieces do not meet modern standards, they serve their purpose. A unique opportunity!

Heibe Meerschaum Pipes: Minor Quality Variations

Special Notice: Please understand that there may be variations in the color of the pipe bowl and mouthpiece. Additionally, mouthpieces may vary slightly in curvature and may be delivered with or without a decorative ring. Despite identical models, some pipes exhibit different dimensions or come with mouthpieces that cannot be removed. Surface textures may also differ; some pipes even feature partial rustication.

These pipes do not conform to modern quality standards. If mouthpieces are slightly uneven or drill holes slightly off-center, this is not a defect but rather a reflection of their historic character as unique pieces.
