Rattray's Devil's Cut Pipes

The Rattray's Devil's Cut combines the theme of a whisky barrel with a distinctive pipe shape and a well-thought-out construction. The barrel-shaped bowl and surrounding copper band incorporate typical elements of a whisky barrel without making the design an end in itself. The generously proportioned shank houses a reverse Calabash cooling system, which gives the smoke additional space on its way to the mouthpiece. All models in the pipe series feature an acrylic mouthpiece and are designed as 9mm filter pipes.

Rattray's Devil's Cut: Pipes in the Style of a Whisky Barrel

With the Devil's Cut, Rattray's carries the barrel theme through consistently down to the details. Particularly distinctive is the copper band around the pipe bowl, visually reminiscent of the metal hoops found on traditional barrels. At the same time, the unusually substantial shank provides the space required for the cooling chamber of the reverse Calabash system. Devil's Cut in Briar, Olive Wood and Oak

The different versions focus on a range of woods. The briar pipe uses the classic material of pipe making and combines it with the series' distinctive barrel shape. The olive wood pipe offers an alternative, with the wood giving the Devil's Cut a different character. The oak version takes the whisky barrel theme particularly far and is additionally fitted with a graphite insert.
