For a long time it was not available in Germany, the "Alligator" finish from Savinelli, which was introduced in 1972.
Yet it really is very typical of the brand. The artfully rusticised and carved surface is reminiscent of reptile skin - hence the name "alligator".
Apart from that, it feels wonderful to the touch and has a great patina.
Available in black, dark blue, dark green and a reddish colour.
All Savinelli Alligator have an acrylic mouthpiece with 9mm bore.
