The Stanwell København pipes feature twelve particularly popular models from the Danish manufacturer's extensive shape archive. The series is aimed at pipe smokers who appreciate classic Danish Design and practical features for everyday use. Characteristic features include balanced proportions and the larger bowls that are particularly important for the German market. The models accommodate 9 mm pipe filters and combine traditional shapes with modern manufacturing.

Stanwell København: Danish Design under New Management

The roots of this design language date back to 1946. Founder Poul Nielsen worked with Danish pipe makers such as Sixten Ivarsson, who carefully reinterpreted English classics and helped shape Danish Design. Today, Stanwell is managed by Kopp Pfeifen after the brand rights were acquired from Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG). The pipes are once again made in Italy. Greater attention is now being paid to important details and careful execution, after these aspects had received less emphasis during the final phase under STG.

Classic Stanwell Shapes: 11, 95 and 13

For the two København debut series, twelve sought-after shapes were selected from the extensive Stanwell portfolio. These include Stanwell Shapes 11, 95 and 13, which illustrate the variety of the design language developed over decades. It is precisely this combination of familiar contours, larger bowls and a 9 mm filter bore that makes København particularly appealing to German pipe smokers. The series thus brings classic Stanwell pipes back in a form where, alongside the characteristic design, greater attention is once again paid to the details.
