Rattray's Pipetool Explorer

This pipe tool is actually a genuine pipe knife with additional functions.

The folding knife, made in France, has a very, very sharp blade and is ideal for cutting plugs (pressed tobacco) or removing the carbon layer in the bowl of the pipe. The head of the blade is rounded, not pointed.

At the end of the knife is the wide tamping surface, and the relatively long broaching mandrel is folded in.

The knife can be attached with a belt clip. The knife handle is made of either bog oak or beautifully grained thuya wood. The "Triskerle" logo, so typical of Rattray's, is emblazoned on the folding mechanism.
