CO Pipes pipe tobacco

Anyone who knows the two pipe-building guys from CO Pipes- Kelvin and Toto, knows that when it comes to quality, inventiveness and style, they don't compromise. And when the two of them meet Hans Wiedemann from HU Tobacco, only great things can come out of it! Hans has designed two blends with the two of them that are a perfect analogy to the characteristic shape of the CO Pipes Freehands. Harmoniously round, but with interesting details that catch the eye and hand. The other blends originate from the collaboration with Thomas Nitsche from Kopp Tobaccos, who is an expert in the field and a passionate tobacco specialist.

"The Bullet" is a rousing Virginia-Perique Ready Rubbed, rounded off by some Brasil and Havana. A slight casing gives it an interesting note, which is aptly called "tangy" in the English-speaking world. A tobacco with a great burn and a lasting impression.

‘The Hihat’ A Burley from Maryland, which comes as a Cube Cut, and a Tanzania Burley as a Ready Rubbed with its chocolaty flavour play the leading role here. They are rounded off with a hint of Black Cavendish, which is derived from a Virginia. The chocolaty, creamy flavour remains noticeable throughout the smoking process. Very dry, clean burn.

‘The Pencil’ is a pure Virginia flake consisting of a large proportion of Red and Brown Virginia, supplemented only by a small addition of lighter-coloured Virginia tobacco. The cold pressing gives it a very compact structure, but it does not lose the ‘rough edges’ that make it so interesting. A slightly spicy delight for nature lovers.

"The Swan" consists of African and American Virginias which are complemented with a noticeable dose of Latakia and Perique. To complete the blend, a pinch of Black Cavendish is added, which works wonders. Buttery, smoky but naturally sweet on the tongue, this great blend is reminiscent of long unavailable American blends.
