The Dan Tobacco factory is located in the picturesque town of Lauenburg, which once gave its name to the Duchy of Lauenburg.
The Ascanians, a Saxon noble tribe, and the namesakes of this tobacco series, had a significant influence on the Duchy of Lauenburg until the 17th century.
Tobaccos of this series are characterised by the fact that the blends are refined, full-bodied and created for the connoisseur.
The spice tobacco Perique plays an important role in both blends.
