Holger Danske Pipe Tobacco

Behind Holger Danske is the Berlin company Unitas, formerly Planta, a renowned producer of pipe tobacco for decades. The association with Scandinavia that the brand name triggers is by no means a coincidence: Holger Danske offers a wide range of carefully flavoured tobaccos.

The palette ranges from the slightly smoky flavour of an Emerald Isle or a BB, whose whiskey aroma blends excellently with Black Cavendish and spicy Burley, to the mild sweetness of cherry and vanilla in the Ruby Melange. Vanilla is also what gives the sweetish Amber Magic its aroma and combines with ripe mango in the Golden Harmony. Based on light Virginias and nutty Burley, this tobacco with its characteristic fruity aroma creates an exoticism that awakens wanderlust in pipe lovers.
