Interesting facts about the brand:
The company Kleinlagel & Sons was founded in 1916 in Rettigheim/Baden by August and his son Karl Kleinlagel.
For generations, the first male descendants have been given names starting with "K" to preserve the tobacco product trademark "KK."
In 1917, Karl Kleinlagel relocated the production to Untergrombach. In 1941, he acquired the current factory buildings in the neighboring village of Obergrombach, where they moved in 1946 after the war. At that time, Kurt Kleinlagel, the son of Karl, became a partner in Kleinlagel oHG.
After the death of Karl Kleinlagel in 1959, he continued to run the company on his own. In 1964, a new machine hall was built, followed by a new shipping hall in 1972.
