Woermann Cigars Spezialitäten
These products from the cigar specialist Wörmann Cigars are made using Dominican Olor and Indonesian Java. In order to achieve a very affordable price, a small trick is employed here, which is quite common in the industry. It's not really a trick to deceive the customer, but rather a way to make tobaccos "processable" that would otherwise be difficult to process with machines. This is done by mixing smaller tobacco pieces with cellulose, flattening them, and creating a binder. This binder is known as an HTL leaf, which stands for "Homogenized Tobacco Leaf."
A little fun fact on the side, the cigars known as "Gelbstreifen" have been produced since the 1940s.
