A Sumatra specialist like De Olifant occasionally ventures down "unfamiliar" paths. If the opportunity arises to acquire the rare and naturally sweet Mata Fina wrapper leaf from the Brazilian district of "Bahia," it is definitely worth it. Often, only 1% of the annual harvest is suitable for use as a wrapper.
Like a good dessert, the taste of the Bahia Brasil is full-bodied, balanced, and carries a subtle sweet chocolate note. The cigarillos made with Brazilian tobaccos from De Olifant are definitely among the best available in this product category. Whether enjoyed as a short smoke or for those moments when there isn't enough time for a "proper" cigar, these (there's no other way to describe it!) incredibly delicious cigarillos are a real treat!
A small box of Bahia Brasil has become a staple in my travel kit. They may not be cheap, but they are worth every penny!

De Olifant Wilde ZigarrenWie so oft im Leben spielte der Zufall eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Entstehung der Wilde Zigarren. Die am Brandende „ausgefransten“ Wilde Cigarillos von La Paz waren bereits der Renner. Nun bringt De Olifant größere Formate mit einem ähnlich gearbeitetem Brandende auf den Markt.
