Granger Originals Cigarillos
Granger Originals Cigarillos combine a mild, subtly flavored taste with an American Blend filler. The range includes Granger Yellow Originals Filter and Granger Red Originals Filter, each featuring its own natural tobacco wrapper and distinct flavoring. One special feature is the biodegradable filter made from unbleached paper.
Granger is a brand of the Scandinavian Tobacco Group, which initially launched it in Germany in March 2017. Later that same year, the filtered cigarillos were also introduced in Spain, Finland, and Denmark. The brand's story therefore began right here in Germany before Granger became known in other European countries.
Comparing the Granger Originals Cigarillo Variants
The Granger Yellow Originals Filter feature a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper. Their filler combines Virginia and Burley tobaccos. In terms of flavor, typical tobacco spice meets a subtle hint of vanilla. The flavoring remains understated, complementing the mild, smooth character of this variant.
The Granger Red Originals Filter, on the other hand, feature a wrapper made from hand-picked Ecuadorian tobacco. The taste is equally mild, but the sweetness takes a different direction: It is reminiscent of maple syrup and blends with a touch of tobacco spice. The two variants therefore differ both in their outer tobacco leaves and in the flavor accents of their blends.
The Little Dog as Granger's Trademark
The Granger Originals Cigarillos also have a distinctive visual feature: A pointing dog serves as the brand's symbol and appears as a small laser-etched motif on the wrapper. It also has a practical purpose, marking the beginning of the paper filter. Both variants share the same slim format, measuring 8.4 centimeters in length and 7 millimeters in diameter.
