Dannemann Artist Line Reserva Mata Fina

The Dannemann Artist Line Reserva is a cigar that is made from 100% Brazilian tobaccos. In São Félix, in the area Bahia in the far north-eastern Brazil, the German Geraldo Dannemann has established and founded the cigar factory Dannemann after his emigration from Bremen in 1872.

The meteorological and geological combination of sun, rain, clouds and the soil in a given year produces a unique result. Such tobacco vintages, also called Reserva, are the pride of the tobacco farmers. Just the right conditions are found in this tobacco-growing region with its nutrient-poor and sandy soils. Here in the heart of the Brazilian state of Bahia its unique soils marry with generations of know-how. Exclusively selected vintage tobaccos from 2006 are processed for the exclusive Dannemann Artist Line of Puros.

Since the wrapper represents the most sensitive and most expensive part of the whole cigar, they are grown on a separate plantation. The decades-long collaboration with local farmers in the region guarantees the high quality of the harvested tobaccos. These cigars are now available in four vitolas (sizes), which vie for the attention of the smoker. In August 2008, the last addition to the series was welcomed: a new (smaller) format, a Panatela.

Our favorite is the mighty robusto that conveys most directly the typical character of a Brazilian cigar. With its lush-dark brown, almost black wrapper and its spicy, chocolaty flavor, it is made for igniting. Even for die-hard fans of Cuban cigars, these Brazilian beauties are worth a try.

The Artist Line is currently being rolled from 9 Torcedoras (female rollers), each of them is proud ofees it with her name. In each box is therefore a short biography of each Senorita with a picture and an original signature.

As an additional highlight of this series, a box with 6 cigars can be ordered with a fitting brass plate. This box branding fits perfectly into a small indentation on the box cover. There is hardly a more personal gift for the cigar lover – you can offer the 6-box as a reminder of a special moment.
