Camacho Ecuador

Yes, it's confusing.... Why on earth did we categorize these cigars under the Dominican Republic? Quite simply, due to the increasing diversity of processed tobaccos, it's becoming more and more challenging to make meaningful categorizations; therefore, we've decided to simply sort all cigars by their country of production. Since these Camacho Ecuador cigars are produced in the Tabacalera of Davidoff in the Dominican Republic (Tabadom), they have been correctly categorized here!

So, now onto the cigar: after all Camachos had to undergo a complete relaunch in recent years, completely new variants were also introduced. In addition to the classic Corojo, Criollo, and Triple Maduro, the Connecticut was introduced, and now also the Ecuador in September 2015. The series was named this way because the wrapper used is a Sun Grown from Ecuador. Beneath it lies a Brazilian Mata Fina binder, as well as filler tobaccos of the Corojo, Criollo Ligero, Pelo de Oro varieties from Honduras and the Dominican Republic.

In terms of flavor, the wrapper is particularly distinct. With an intentional, intense spiciness and an additional floral and lemony note, the three vitolas kick off quite nicely. The earthy-tasting binder from Brazil and the four different filler tobaccos provide an overall intense flavor experience.

Upon its introduction in the fall of 2015, three formats were initially presented, each delivered in appealing, sturdy 20-count wooden boxes.
