Camacho Ecuador

Yes, it is confusing… Why on earth did we classify these cigars under the Dominican Republic category? Quite simply: due to the increasing variety of tobaccos used, it is becoming more and more difficult to create meaningful categorizations; therefore, we decided to sort all cigars purely by their country of production. Since these Camacho Ecuador are produced in Davidoff’s Tabacalera in the Dominican Republic (Tabadom), they have quite rightly been placed here!

Camacho Ecuador: A Flavor Explosion from the Dominican Republic

Now, on to the cigar: after all Camacho cigars underwent a complete relaunch in recent years, entirely new variants were also introduced. Alongside the classic Corojo, Criollo and Triple Maduro, the Connecticut was added, followed by the Ecuador in September 2015. The series was named after its wrapper, which is a Sun Grown from Ecuador. Beneath it lies a Brazilian Mata Fina binder, along with filler tobaccos of the varieties Corojo, Criollo Ligero, Pelo de Oro from Honduras and the Dominican Republic.

In terms of flavor, the wrapper is particularly distinctive. With a deliberate, intense spiciness and additional floral as well as lemony notes, all three vitolas start off impressively. The earthy-tasting Brazilian binder and the four different filler tobaccos ensure an overall intense flavor experience.

The Diverse World of Camacho Ecuador Cigars

At the launch in autumn 2015, three formats were initially introduced, each delivered in attractive, solid wooden boxes of 20 cigars. In spring 2017, the Robusto was added in a tube. You can get an overview of the Camacho range with the Robusto Tubos Limited Assortment. Everything at a glance from current Camacho cigars!
