Davidoff Signature

These are the mildest cigars from Davidoff. Aficionados appreciate them as delicate yet aromatic cigars that perfectly showcase the brand’s signature floral-herbal flavor profile. All vitolas are crafted from the classic Davidoff blend of Seco, Volado, and Olor in the filler. The binder is also Dominican. A flawless Connecticut Shade wrapper is used—hardly matched in terms of beauty and perfection. The Primeros (handmade mediumfillers) were added in 2010 and expanded with a Maduro version in 2011.

Davidoff Mille Series: Gentle Elegance in Every Draw

The formats 1, 2, and 3 correspond exactly to the Cuban vitolas de galera known as Laguito No. 1, 2, and 3. In other words, the No. 1 is a Lancero, the No. 2 a Coronas Especiales, and the No. 3 a Panetelas, as known from Cohiba. The cigars of the “Mille” (“thousand”) series are very balanced in flavor. They sit stylistically between the fuller, more pronounced profile of the Grand Cru series and the milder Classic line. The 2000 is available in an elegant white tubo, which can also be reused as a cigar case. Slightly more affordable than the Classic or the Aniversario, they represent the true entry point into the world of perfectly crafted Davidoff cigars. My first cigar, as far as I remember, was a Davidoff 2000. The 3000, 4000, and 5000 formats have since been discontinued—so it’s not only the Cubans who keep phasing out slimmer formats like Lanceros!
