Viaje Collaboration Series

Since 2014, we have been carrying the Viaje Exclusivo cigars by Andre Farkas. Andre resides in Los Angeles and serves as the founder, owner, and master blender, all in one. Since the late 2000s, he has been having what are called "small batch" cigars produced, which often come with exceptional names and packaging. His loyal following among retailers and aficionados in the USA regularly leads to his limited editions selling out very quickly and achieving cult status in a short time.

The aforementioned Exclusivo by him are the first "regular production" cigars that are consistently manufactured. The cigars presented here from the Collaboration Series, on the other hand, are limited editions that Andre produces in collaboration with well-known and famous cigar producers or master blenders. The first one was produced in 2014, and in the inaugural year, it was a collaboration with Casa Fernandez, the company that grows excellent tobacco under the name AGANORSA in the Esteli region of Nicaragua. Interestingly, this cigar was a 6x52 and sold for about $12 in the USA.

The first edition of this series that we brought to Germany is the Toro from 2015, which he created in collaboration with Abraham "Abe" Flores. These cigars, measuring 6 x 52, are manufactured in the Tabacalera PDR (Pinar del Rio) by Abe in Tamboril, Dominican Republic. The wrapper is a Sun Grown from Ecuador, and two Dominican leaves serve as binders. The filler is a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos. Each of these cigars is delivered in an individual wooden box, and 20 of these boxes are housed in a large, sturdy wooden crate.

We are very pleased to not only offer you the regular Exclusivo but also the Collaboration Series exclusively for Germany (currently probably even for Europe). In October 2015, Andre decided to rename this series to "Juntos" (Spanish for "together") starting in 2016. He also mentioned that there would be a different factory after Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) for the first edition in 2014 and PDR Cigars in 2015. The regular Viaje Exclusivo cigars come from the Tabacalera Raices Cubanas in Honduras.
