Woermann Cigars LF Dominican

Just as with the Quisqueya, this brand was also established when the distribution by Charles Fairmorn, which was operated through Woermann Cigars until 2010, was discontinued. These are essentially the replacement or alternative to the traditional DSS, the Dominican Santiago Selection cigars, which are currently distributed directly by Fairmorn or through their distributor Kleinlagel from Bruchsal.

The LF Dominican cigars are currently distributed by Woermann Cigars. They are also medium- to full-bodied cigars with complex flavors that can be offered at an especially attractive price due to the omission of elaborate packaging or wooden boxes. Despite being packaged in bundles, they are handmade long-fillers using Dominican tobaccos (Olor and Piloto) for the filler. The binder is again a Piloto from the Dominican Republic, and the wrapper is a Connecticut Shade grown in Ecuador.

By now, the series is named LF for trademark reasons, which stands for the production style "Long Filler". This means that these cigars are rolled from whole leaves and thus belong to the premium category.
