Horacio Pantera

You could also write at length about the Horacio cigars in a relaxed and leisurely fashion – but I’ll try to keep it short! Horacio was founded in Switzerland by three Frenchmen who initially wanted to create a private label for their specialist tobacco shop – and ended up creating so much more. These cigars from Nicaragua are now available internationally and are enjoying steadily growing popularity. What began as a single-series launch of the Horacio Classic cigars has since expanded significantly. In Germany, distribution is handled by Werner Casagranda, who also includes other successful cigar brands in his portfolio, such as Vegas Santiago by Marc Niehaus.

Horacio Pantera – New Intensity With a Distinct Signature

The three founders come from a gastronomy background and know how important “clean” and “honest” enjoyment is – which is why all their cigars are consistently of outstanding quality in both craftsmanship and tobacco. With the Horacio Pantera, the brand opens a new chapter, aimed at aficionados who appreciate powerful yet clearly defined cigars from Nicaragua. The line represents intensity without overwhelm, blending structure, elegance, and smoothness into a balanced smoking experience. Pantera is deliberately designed as a medium-plus cigar, offering dense, aromatic smoke that is present from the very first draw, yet always remains harmonious.

Characterful Vitolas for Discerning Aficionados

The Pantera line embodies a new level of expressiveness within the Horacio cigars range. A dark yet silky Colorado wrapper from Ecuador encases a Nicaraguan binder and an exclusive filler blend from Nicaragua and Honduras. This unusual combination delivers depth and complexity without harshness or discord. On the palate, expect notes of leather, roasted coffee, and toasted nuts, complemented by a fine spiciness and a long, clean finish. The Horacio Pantera cigars are available in Germany in three large-format vitolas, each with a distinctive pigtail cap. The Pantera 54 (6¼″ × 54) offers a balanced, classic smoking profile with defined aromas. The Pantera 60 (6″ × 60) provides more volume and depth – ideal for long evenings. The more compact Pantera 64 (4″ × 64) delivers concentrated enjoyment with a bold presence. Pantera is aimed at experienced aficionadas and aficionados who seek authentic intensity paired with refined finesse.
