Hoyo de Monterrey Añejado

The concept of Habanos Anejados was first introduced in Germany in the spring of 2015. In January 2016, the Añejado Hermosos No. 4 from Hoyo de Monterrey was launched as the third vitola in this relatively new product line. These cigars are an absolute must-have for collectors and serious aficionados of Cuban cigars.

Aging and Quality Assurance of Anejados Cigars

Each cigar in this series, identifiable by the additional cigar band labeled Anejados, has been aged for at least five years in unbranded boxes before reaching the market. Additionally, Habanos inspects every single Anejado cigar to ensure flawless quality before sale. This is confirmed by the "Revisado" stamp on the bottom of each cigar box.

Hermosos No. 4 from Hoyo de Monterrey

The Montecristo Anejado Churchill and the Romeo y Julieta Anejado Piramides were the first vitolas in the Añejado series from Habanos. As limited editions, they are likely to become increasingly rare and desirable, potentially leading to an increase in value. However, the primary focus remains on the enjoyment of smoking.

We recommend storing one or two boxes and tasting one every six months. If you keep notes or have an excellent memory, you will be able to observe how the flavor of these aged cigars evolves. When they reach their peak flavor, it’s time to savor them.
