Hoyo de Monterrey Year Of The

In November 2019, Habanos S.A. expanded its range to include cigars inspired by the Chinese zodiac, known as the „Año Chino“. The first in this series was the Romeo y Julieta Maravillas 8 from the previous year. Following the release of the Maravillas 8, it was hardly surprising that Habanos S.A. announced another cigar, this time in honor of the Year of the Ox, from the Hoyo de Monterrey brand.

For the Chinese New Year: Cuban Año Chino Cigars

The Primaveras is a „Hermosos No.1“ (48 × 167 mm) and thus follows in the tradition of some legendary cigars like the Romeo y Julieta Hermosos No. 1 (EL 2003) and the Montecristo Dantés (EL 2016). Its impressive dimensions promise a long-lasting pleasure!

Hoyo de Monterrey Primaveras – Year of the Ox 2021

In terms of flavor, the Primaveras from Hoyo de Monterrey impresses with a creamy, almost sweet note. In fact, the flavors in its profile seem to shift with almost every puff, with cedarwood and white chocolate standing out. The samples we smoked were exceptionally mild, which is quite unusual for Cuban cigars.
