Cohiba Gran Reserva

For the production of Cuban Gran Reservas, only tobaccos aged for a minimum of five years are used for the filler, binder, and wrapper, sourced from the finest Vegas Finas de Prima in the Pinar del Rio zone. A second black and gold cigar band is used to designate these cigars as "Gran Reserva." The exquisite boxes are high-gloss lacquered, enhancing the elegant presentation of this masterful format.

Only 5,000 boxes, each containing 15 cigars, are produced. Consequently, it is challenging to distribute the homeopathic quantities of these 7,500 cigars we receive "fairly." If we divide this quantity by the number of worldwide La Casa del Habano stores, each Casa in Germany should ideally receive around 30 boxes. However, this is far from the reality. From the latest editions, we have received fewer than 10 boxes each time. It is not the importer's fault; 5th Avenue simply does not receive the proportionally allocated amount they are supposed to.

We always strive to sell these highly limited cigars to loyal customers rather than quasi-commercial bulk purchasers who might resell these treasures for a premium. Unfortunately, frustration is often inevitable in such situations.
