The unique aspect of limited Cuban cigars is that the tobaccos used for them have been aged for at least two years. This aging occurs prior to rolling, which gives the Ediciones Limitadas (as they are officially known) a generally more balanced and refined aroma compared to the regularly available vitolas.

In this section, we have gathered all the limited cigars from the Cuban cigar brand Hoyo de Monterrey that have been released globally as so-called Edicion Limitada. The worldwide Cuban exclusive distributor, Habanos S.A., has been doing this since the early 2000s.
