Kubaner soll man ja eigentlich immer ein paar Jahre einlagern, oder man raucht sie ganz frisch. So wie ich heute: Vormittags klingelt der Postbote, Nachmittags geht die Zigarre in Rauch auf. Startet mit einer ordentlichen Prise Pfeffer, dazu leicht cremig. Im 1/3 wird sie schnell ledrig-erdig, dazu leicht cremig-süß. Das 2/3 ist zunächst gleichbleibend, wird dann jedoch holzig-toastiger, später zeigt sich ein Nuss-Aroma. Im 3/3 wieder vermehrt Erde und Leder. Rauchvolumen und Zuwiderstand gut. Abbrand-technisch eigentlich auch, mit der Einschränkung, dass die Zigarre zwischenzeitlich zum ausgehen neigte. Rauchdauer: etwa 70 Minuten. Fazit: hat auch frisch schon gepasst. Wie das Reifepotenzial aussieht, sollen Andere bewerten.
anonym Eine feine Karamellsüße, leichtes Leder und ein Hauch von Zedernholz im Kaltgeruch. Der Einstieg ist eine sehr schöne und milde Mischung aus Getreidenoten, leichtem Holz, ganz dezenten Anklängen von Kaffee und einer feinen Creme. Im zweiten Drittel kristallisieren sich Zedernholz und Kaffee sehr prominent und angenehm als Hauptaromen heraus. Es bleibt weiterhin unterlegt von einer wunderbaren Cremigkeit. Die Übergänge sind fließend und sehr weich. Letztlich bleibt diese Aromenkomposition bis zum Ende bestehen und wird lediglich um leicht erdige Röstaromen gegen Ende ergänzt. Zugwiderstand und Rauchabgebe sind durchgehend sehr gut. Leider hat die Cancilleres von Beginn an Probleme mit einem deutlich unrunden Abbrandverhalten, welches mehrfach korrigiert werden musste. Da so etwas bei frischen Habanos nichts Ungewöhnliches ist, will ich es auch nicht zu schwer ins Gewicht fallen lassen. Insgesamt war diese Neuheit aus dem Hause Diplomáticos in ihren ~65min. eine wunderbare, milde und toll abgestimmte Zigarre und für mich ein definitiver Kistenkandidat.
