Drew Estate Nica Rustica
The Nica Rustica from Drew Estate is crafted with a very dark, rustic-looking Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. A visual highlight is the so-called “pigtail” – a small twisted tail at the head of the cigar. This traditional detail deliberately emphasizes the rustic character of the series.
Drew Estate Nica Rustica – Honest Cigars From Nicaragua
The name “El Brujito” roughly translates from Spanish as “little witch doctor” or shaman. In the tobacco metropolis of Estelí in Nicaragua, there is a prehistoric rock carving depicting a human figure performing ritual tobacco smoking. This image is considered one of the oldest known depictions of tobacco consumption. With the “El Brujito” format, Drew Estate pays tribute to this long tradition and to the history of tobacco in the Estelí region.
Bold and For Experienced Aficionados: Nica Rustica
After the Undercrown was introduced in 2011 and the Herrera Estelí the following year, the Nica Rustica was initially the only new release from the Tabacalera. It was first presented at the IPCPR 2013 in Las Vegas. If this series develops as successfully as the Liga Privada once did, aficionados can certainly expect additional formats in the coming years.

Drew Estate Nica Rustica El Brujito TastingJonathan Drew von Drew Estate hat mit der Nica Rustica Serie und dem Format El Brujito eine rauchbare Hommage an die Lange Geschichte Estelís erschaffen. El Brujito meint nämlich eine prähistorische Felsenmalerei in der nicaraguanischen Zigarrenhochburg Estelí die einen Hexer darstellt. Wir waren so frei und haben die Zigarre bereits vor dem Erscheinen in Deutschland verkostet. Das Ergebnis: Die Zigarre ist aromenhaltige Kreation mit anklängen von Süße un Karamell, die dabei aber nicht kräftig daherkommt.
