Horacio Bulier Gran Reserva H

Behind the *Horacio* brand are three Swiss cigar enthusiasts who, in 2008, transformed their passion into their own line of premium longfillers. Today, the Horacio Cigars are crafted in Estelí, the heart of Nicaragua’s northern tobacco region near the Honduran border, while Horacio Distribution SA, based in Geneva, is responsible for global distribution.

Horacio Bulier Gran Reserva H – The Bold Side of the Swiss Brand

With the Bulier Gran Reserva H line, Horacio elevates its portfolio to a new level. The blend of a silky, oily Ecuadorian wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and Costa Rica delivers an intense, full-bodied smoking experience. Notes of leather, espresso, and roasted almonds define the flavor profile, complemented by spicy depth and subtle roasted nuances. Currently available in three formats – Piramides 52, Grand Robusto 56, and Gordito 60– this line is geared toward seasoned aficionados who appreciate aromatic complexity and strength. Each Bulier Gran Reserva H embodies meticulous craftsmanship, hand-selected tobaccos, and a commitment to delivering enjoyment in its most concentrated form. The Torpedo I tasted, simply named 52, delivered exactly what was promised. I didn’t find it quite as strong as advertised — the strength was wrapped in a pleasantly smooth sweetness. Still, it’s one to smoke slowly!

Bulier Gran Reserva H: Intense Blend with Tobaccos from Nicaragua and Costa Rica

We assume that the “H” once again refers to the original origin of the wrapper leaf, which, due to trademark restrictions, cannot be named in Germany. In our view, Horacio Cigars have so far flown somewhat under the radar in this country, and we would be pleased to see that change. Distribution in Germany is handled by Werner Casagranda. The first cigars from this brand, the Horacio Classic Cigars, reached us at the end of 2018; since then, the portfolio has grown significantly.
