Luciano MXS
This series features the limited Luciano MXS cigars from the Nicaraguan brand Luciano, launched in collaboration with well-known U.S. sports personalities. Since co-owner Tiago Splitter was himself a successful NBA player, it was a natural move to involve other former athletes in the project. Until 2022, the cigars were produced at the Tabacalera Pichardo, which claims to produce around 2.5 million cigars per year. Probably the most well-known cigars from this factory are those of Juarez, made there for Crowned Heads. Since 2023, following a dispute with Eradio Pichardo, Luciano has been producing its cigars in its own Nicaraguan factory, Tabacalera Luciano Cigars.
Luciano MXS Cigars: Between Sports and Sophistication
The Luciano MXS cigars were originally introduced to the German market in March 2020. In addition to the cigars presented here, several other lines have also made their way across the Atlantic — including the Luciano Tiago, blended by master blender Luciano Mereilles to suit his personal taste.
Exclusive Cigars with Sports Legends: MXS by Luciano
Intriguing and unusual in this context is certainly the fact that the aforementioned Tiago cigars closely resemble the original Pichardo line in appearance. According to both parties, the cigars continue to be made with the original blend. The former are still imported by our esteemed retail partner Dalay from Saarbrücken, while we now import the latter ourselves in cooperation with brand ambassador Fernando Navarro.
