Short Dog

ShortDog What can I say? A Padron is a Padron - and I can only be thankful that they have this "classic" versions for plebs like me who can only rarely afford the cherry on top which are most Padrons costing over 40. Back to this one. Looks rugged and sloppily rolled - but I have the feeling this is on purpose, because the construction is absolutely flawless, with excellent consistency and fluent, undistubed and even burn. A Padron is a Padron, right? Now for the tasting experience. Rough, yet refined. The creaminess smoothens out the harsh aromas of wet forest soils, dark wood and roasted coffee. The mixture though is delicious. Each toke was a pleasure. Even towards the end it doesn t get spicy in a bad sense and of course there's other kicks of flavours here and there from toasted nuts, hay, dried flowers and raisins. All in all it felt like those very rare times you pay for business class but end up in the first class. For the money - a delicay. Not best for the money, but hei... a Padron is a Padron. Clear recommandation. Peace and love, my Gz!
