Pichardo Clasico

These cigars are made by Eradio Pichardo in his own tabacalera in Estelí, Nicaragua. Naturally, they are all handmade longfillers, rolled with great care and passion. Eradio can look back on around 150 years of family tradition, which he appropriately “celebrated” in the Pichardo Reserva Familiar Cigars. The Pichardo Clasico Cigars presented here are the “original” blends on which his success is built. The Sumatra version is the bestseller within this series, while the Maduro was our team’s favorite, as it delivers a bit more spice and aromatic depth. For lovers of mild cigars, we recommend the Natural with an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper. As always, the same rule applies here – taste is subjective: the (journey of) discovery is, as ever, the goal!

Cigars from Pichardo – Quality at a Fair Price

Originally, Eradio’s cigars were imported via our fellow retailer Dalay from Saarbrücken, as the cigars by Luciano Mereilles were also produced there. After the business separation of Eradio and Luciano, we stepped in and have since been importing his cigars “directly.” This allowed us (once again) to significantly reduce cigar prices and considerably expand the portfolio – we believe this was very much in your interest! :-)

Pichardo Clasico Cigars from Nicaragua

The Pichardo Clasico collection comprises three characterful blends, each with its own distinct profile:

  • Pichardo Clasico Sumatra: Featuring a finely veined wrapper made from Ecuadorian Sumatra tobacco, combined with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. A well-balanced blend with elegant spice.
  • Pichardo Clasico Maduro: This version impresses with a dark, aromatic Arapiraca wrapper from Brazil, complemented by Nicaraguan tobacco in the binder and filler – a full-bodied, deeply nuanced smoking experience.
  • Pichardo Clasico Natural: A light, silky Ecuador tobacco forms the wrapper of this blend. The filler and binder tobaccos come from Nicaragua. This version is available in the classic Robusto and Toro formats and is aimed at lovers of mild to medium-bodied cigars.
