Rocky Patel Aged Limited Rare (A.L.R.) Second Edition

There is generally an inflationary flood of terms such as “aged,” “limited,” and “rare.” By now, every cigar producer uses these words to promote their mass-produced “smokes,” which ultimately still come off the “production line” and are not quite as rare and limited as some would have you believe. In this case, “aged” refers to the fact that the cigars are left to rest for another two years after rolling before being packed into boxes and sold. According to Rocky, this makes them more complex and well-rounded.

Rocky Patel: Aged, Limited, Rare!

The cigars are certainly rare. The second edition was the first to make it to Germany, and it sold out extremely quickly. The first edition was launched in 2018, while the one (formerly) available here was the second edition from 2019. Its Mexican San Andres wrapper and Nicaraguan tobaccos from Rocky’s farms in Esteli and Condega for the binder and filler gave these cigars sweet notes of chocolate, vanilla, and a hint of coconut. Only 2,000 boxes of the second-edition Toro were produced at Rocky’s own factory in Esteli, Nicaragua.

ALR Robusto New for Summer 2026 with Humidor

The Robusto was not regularly available on the German market. As part of a special order, we were able to source it from the central warehouse of Rocky Patel Cigars in Honduras in summer 2026. These cigars from Honduras come in bundles of 10 and are presented in very attractive outer packaging. This could even be repurposed as a humidor.
