Rocky Patel Aged Limited Rare (A.L.R.) Second Edition Robusto

Terms such as “aged,” “limited,” and “rare” have become almost standard vocabulary for many cigar brands. With the Rocky Patel ALR Robusto, however, the “Aged” refers to a specific aging process: After rolling, the cigars are left to rest for another two years before being packaged and shipped. According to Rocky Patel, this additional aging period is intended to add complexity and create a more harmonious balance between the individual flavors.

Rocky Patel ALR Robusto with Aged Tobaccos

The Robusto combines a Mexican San Andres wrapper with Nicaraguan tobaccos from Esteli and Condega, used for both the binder and filler. The flavor profile is dominated by sweet notes reminiscent of chocolate, vanilla, and a subtle hint of coconut. Unlike other formats in the series, the Robusto had not previously been regularly available on the German market.

ALR Robusto Available as a Special Order Since Summer 2026

In summer 2026, we were able to source the Rocky Patel ALR Robusto as part of a special order from the central warehouse of Rocky Patel Cigars in Honduras. The cigars from Honduras come in bundles of 10 inside an elaborately designed outer box. Thanks to its sturdy construction, the box can also be used as a humidor after purchase.
