Maria Mancini Sampler

In this section, we’ve compiled the samplers from the Maria Mancini cigar brand, released over the decades of its existence. They offer a multifaceted introduction to a brand that blends history, culture, and modern cigar enjoyment. The Schuster family, owners and producers of the brand, also include the highly popular Casa de Torres Zigarren as a proprietary line in their portfolio. In the past, the Schusters had to give up distribution rights to some significant brands (such as Drew Estate Zigarren and La Flor Dominicana) after having passionately advocated for them on the German market. It was therefore only logical to reduce dependence on third-party brands and to offer high-quality premium cigars under their own lines in Germany.

Maria Mancini Samplers – Variety With Historical Depth

The revival of the Maria Mancini brand was initiated by the August Schuster company from Bünde in the early 2000s. The name traces back to a cigar brand of the same name featured in the novel “The Magic Mountain” by Thomas Mann. The cigars are produced in Honduras, with each line carrying its own distinct signature. The samplers reflect this approach by combining different strength profiles and flavor orientations without overwhelming the smoker.

Typical for the samplers is the combination of the balanced Maria Mancini Classic, known for its fine spice and elegant creaminess, and the more pronounced Maria Mancini Edition Especial, whose tobacco brings more depth and structure to the mix. Often, the lighter Maria Mancini Postre de Banquete completes the set—a cigar for relaxed moments after a meal, subtly aromatic and pleasantly accessible. The Maria Mancini samplers thus offer a well-rounded cross-section of the range and come highly recommended for anyone who appreciates Honduran cigars with a literary flair and wide flavor spectrum.
