Raices Sampler
The Raíces Robusto Sampler contains four different Robustos from the Honduran brand. Because they share the same format, it is easy to compare the differences between them. The sampler offers a saving of around 30% compared with buying the cigars individually. We suggested the sampler to Raíces to give aficionados an overview of its different blends. With that saving, it is a good opportunity to try several lines.
Raíces Cigars from Honduras
Raíces is run by Ralph Montero and the Endemaño family. The cigars are made at their Tabacalera Raíces Cubanas in Danlí. Montero was previously involved in founding Alec Bradley Cigars. As the owner of Raíces Zigarren, he oversees cigar development and international distribution.
Comparing Four Raíces Robustos
The Robustos in the sampler show different sides of the brand. The Clasico is mild to medium-bodied, with a creamy, slightly woody character. The C5 Black is stronger by comparison, with more pepper and wood. The sampler also includes the Nuevo Comienzo Robusto and the Liga de Reyes Robusto.
