Hydrocase Electronic Humidifier

The German brand Hydrocase produces high-end electronic cigar humidifiers. For many years, aficionados from around the world have trusted the products of Marc André (DER HUMIDOR) and his team. After the Hydrocase Universal served as the preferred choice for quite some time, the new top model, Hydrocase Professional, is set to replace its predecessor in 2024.

Electronic Humidifiers from Hydrocase

The principle behind the Hydrocase Professional is straightforward: it actively maintains the ideal climate in the humidor by measuring humidity levels and regularly circulating the air. However, this electronic assistant works quite ingeniously in detail: if the humidity exceeds the set level, the air is simply ventilated every three and a half hours without additional humidification. If the humidity drops below the desired level, the air is circulated through a moistened microporous sponge, adding extra moisture.

Hydrocase Professional: Optimal Humidity in the Humidor

If the humidity remains too low, the Hydrocase Professional operates as a passive humidifier: it stays open, releasing moisture to the cigars until, after another three and a half hours, the air is circulated again and the humidity is measured. If the air is sufficiently humid, the built-in slider closes, and the sponge stops releasing water. This process prevents excess humidity.

For humidors with a capacity of up to 15 liters or around 250 cigars, the Hydrocase Professional offers an ideal solution. After a thorough redesign by the manufacturer, the device can now do even more: the humidity level can now be set between 63% and 78%.
