Flor de Copan – Cigars

Honduran cigars from Flor de Copan are renowned worldwide for their quality. This applies to the mild yet complex Flor de Copan Clasica just as much as to the stronger Linea Puros, which is made entirely from tobacco grown in Honduras. The Flor de Copan Maduro blends Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos with a Mexican wrapper, offering both spice and a subtle sweetness.

Flor de Copan Cigars: Perfection From Honduras

The high quality of Central American tobaccos, especially those from Honduras, was already appreciated by the Mayans centuries ago. Even today, the country between the Atlantic and Pacific is known as one of the world’s top regions for premium tobacco cultivation. The Copán region, deep in western Honduras near the borders with Guatemala and El Salvador, benefits from a mild tropical climate – ideal conditions for developing the uniquely smooth character of the Flor de Copán cigar lines.

Though they feature tobacco from various regions, all Flor de Copan cigars are produced in the provincial capital of Santa Rosa de Copán, in a colonial-era factory where every cigar is handcrafted. These longfillers meet the highest standards of cigar craftsmanship. Each one is wrapped in a delicate cedar sleeve, further enhancing its aroma during aging.

Decorated with an elegant white, red, and gold band, the Flor de Copán – “the blossom of Copán” – radiates irresistible elegance. Despite their high level of craftsmanship and exclusive use of premium tobacco, these fully hand-rolled cigars come at a very attractive price-performance ratio.

Smooth Enjoyment: Flor de Copan Clasica Cigars

Their gentle aroma can be described as nutty to creamy. Thanks to their smooth mildness, Flor de Copán cigars are a perfect starting point for newcomers – while still satisfying seasoned palates. The flavor diversity of Flor de Copán is reflected in its range of products, divided into three distinct series.

Light Yet Flavorful: Flor de Copan Clasica

The cigars in the classic Flor de Copan line feature tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. They are light but showcase a broad spectrum of flavors – from floral and chocolaty to subtle hints of leather or cedarwood. The Classic series includes a wide variety of formats. Whether it’s a Demi Tasse for a short smoke or a Churchill for a longer session. For protection on the go, we recommend the Monarcas Tubos. If you enjoy the mild aromas of a Davidoff or a Rocky Patel cigar, you’re sure to enjoy the Flor de Copan range.

Fuller-Bodied Flor de Copan Cigars: Linea Puros and Maduro

A bit stronger is the Linea Puros line, made exclusively with Honduran-grown tobacco. Originally from Cuba, the seed delivers a bold flavor with a touch of sweetness. The Flor de Copan Maduro line combines tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua beneath a Mexican wrapper. This cross-border blend offers a spicy profile with hints of chocolate and softwood.

Anyone lighting up a Flor de Copán isn’t just smoking a cigar – they’re tasting the fascinating legacy of the Mayans and experiencing a centuries-old Central American tradition. A cigar that turns every smoke into a cultural moment.
