Parcero Cigars – For True Tobacco Friends

We’ll spare you the aphorisms about friendship. There are already more of those floating around than there are potential “friends” on Facebook. And we’re also not here to throw around hollow slogans like “The cigar – your friend!” That kind of thing already flopped in 1990s car ads – and really, do you know anyone who drove a Daewoo?

But what we do want to share is the real meaning of the word: “Parcero” is Latin American slang for “friend.” And admittedly, that’s a beautiful word.

Parcero Dominicano – Mild Cigars

Enough talk – let’s focus on cigars. The Parcero Dominicano is produced by Arnold André Dominicana, a factory that – surprise! – belongs to the namesake importer based in Bünde, Germany. The company enjoys an excellent reputation. Other top-quality cigars like Carlos André, Beast, and Montosa are also rolled here.

The wrapper leaf for the Dominicano comes from Mexico, while the filler includes tobaccos from the USA and – naturally – the Dominican Republic. This cigar is another testament to Arnold André’s expertise in high-quality tobacco. Following its spring 2021 launch, the Parcero proved so popular with customers that a Brazilian series followed the next year.

Parcero Brasil – Spicy Cigars

The newer Parcero Brasil features a Mata Fina wrapper, with the same tobacco used in the binder, joined by Dominican Criollo, all wrapped in a Mexican binder leaf.

And if you're expecting the typical Brazilian sweetness – think again: the Brasil line packs character. Just like in real life: true friends are the ones you can count on, not in spite of their strong will, but because of it. So there you go – we ended up dropping an aphorism after all…
