Parcero Dominicano
“Friendship, not birth, makes us brothers”—this is how Schiller once celebrated that noble value which connects us more deeply than kinship ever could. Like fine wine, friendships gain in value and depth over time. Yet these days, they face challenges; distance, not closeness, has become the prevailing rule. Rarely has it been so difficult to maintain friendships. But while we can still only dream of social gatherings and faraway countries, importer Arnold André surprises us with a series full of promising exoticism.
Parcero Cigars: Hand-Rolled Friendship and Exotic Flair
Parcero Cigars are rolled at the Tabacalera Arnold André Dominicana, a wholly owned subsidiary of the cigar importer based in Bünde—essentially the in-house factory of this East Westphalian company. The first line produced here was the premium range Carlos André. Production of the Beast Cigars, introduced in 2016, followed soon after, and since 2019, the very popular Montosa Cigars have also been made here. Both the wrapper and binder of the Parcero Cigars come from Mexico—with a Claro wrapper and a Negro San Andrés binder. The filler is a blend of tobaccos from Brazil, Pennsylvania in the USA, and Piloto Dominicano from the Dominican Republic—the full range of the American continent, so to speak. The name Parcero comes from a Caribbean word for “friend,” and just like a true friend, this cigar is here to share both the joyful and the serious moments in life. Available in three formats: Churchill, Robusto, and Toro.
The Diversity of the Americas in One Cigar: Discover Parcero
These cigars offer aromas of nut and coffee, with a core character that is both aromatic and earthy. The Robusto is generally the most intense, followed by the slightly longer Toro. Due to its format, the Churchill takes a bit more time to unfold its flavors and nuances—let the time you have available guide your choice of vitola. For those who find the lighter Parceros not quite intense or bold enough, we recommend the slightly more spicy Parcero Brasil Cigars, which offer a bit more fire and intensity!
