Becker Pipes Freehand

Becker Pipes have had an almost legendary reputation among connoisseurs and specialists for decades. No wonder, because there is a real pipe-making dynasty behind it.

Founded by Fritz Becker, continued by Paolo Becker, and now brought back to life by Federico Becker, three generations of Becker pipes have been manufactured in Rome.

The style has hardly changed over the years and has remained very characteristic. Straight, elegant shapes, with slender shanks, designed with a quantum of Italian interpretation of classicism.

The wood quality plays the main role, even if this is becoming more and more difficult at the moment. Calabrian briar in "Extra-Extra" quality is used, which is known for its particularly beautiful, even grain.

In 1979, Fritz Becker classified his pipes according to the generally known symbolism of playing cards. Federico also continues this system of grading.

Only a few are produced each year, which is why Becker pipes are coveted collector's items.
