Pipes with meerschaum insert have clear advantages:

- cool, dry smoke, as very absorbent material

- thus no sintering or excessive moisture

- very heat-resistant, ideal for walks

- cannot burn through because of the use of meerschaum (meerschaum is a mineral)

- Hardly any influence on taste when different tobaccos are smoked

Giordano has taken up this topic again and implements it in a contemporary way. All pipes are designed very harmoniously and have tasteful decorative wood applications.
